The Outdoorsman - Vaal Gas was established in 1968 as a small concern mainly dealing in Gas.

Thirty two years later the Outdoorsman has grown to a new established supplier of Outdoor goods and with eight stores across South Africa, it became a leading concern in this field of camping, hiking, 4x4, fishing and clothing.
